Ditlihi- The Warrior is an award winning, original screenplay about disabled veterans. It was formerly known as unnumbered Hill.
In 1993, a hard-drinking Cherokee ex-WWII reporter checks into a PTSD facility for veterans, where he meets two younger vets scarred by the Gulf War. They push him to write the story he’s buried for 50 years, the 82nd Airborne's brutal battle for Hill 424 at Salerno, where bravado curdls into trauma. With their help in this dual-timeline war drama, he finally reaches forgiveness and sobriety as he tells the truth for the men who screamed “Red River “Valley.”
