Ditlihi-The Warrior is a blend of Band of Brothers and American Sniper both of which were highly profitable.
Band of Brothers follows a company of paratrooper across Europe and then ends without showing the true cost of their valor, which is their struggles when they came home. Ditlihi-The Warrior focuses on one man, a reporter, embedded with the Airborne fighting one bloody battle and then shows how after 50 years, he is still struggling with the trauma he experienced.
American Sniper, like Ditlihi -The Warrior, does show the trauma that war brought to one man but in American Sniper the protagonist is rehabilitated after two minutes of talking to a psychiatrist. In the next scenes, he’s a group leader helping other vets deal with their struggles. In Ditlihi-The Warrior, it’s the other scarred veterans in the rehab center who help the protagonist face his trauma and learn to live with it. This is shown by intercutting between the war and the rehab center.
